Justin Lacson: Executive Director/Environmental Planner

Justin Lacson, founder of the World Watershed Alliance, serves as the Executive Director and Environmental Planner. Justin draws from years of experience having worked with the US Environmental Protection Agency and as an environmental consultant working for tribal, municipal, and state agencies. An accomplished Environmental Planner, Justin leads multi-disciplinary teams of design and scientific professionals. Justin applies technical expertise to environmental planning, river and wetland assessment/mitigation, water resource management, GIS, and sustainable development on World Watershed projects. Justin is a certified wetland scientist and has managed several complex wetland, river assessment, restoration and mitigation projects. Justin has worked on sustainable development projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, India, and Central America. As Executive Director of the World Watershed Alliance, Justin is committed to providing urban planning, water security and watershed management services to local and international communities in need.

Grace Heinze: Operations Director/Ecologist

Grace, a founding member of the World Watershed Alliance, serves as Operations Director and Ecologist. She incorporates over 15 years in business management and administration to further World Watershed's local and international vision. As an Ecologist, Grace has conducted watershed assessments and collected GIS data for Iracambi Atlantic Rainforest Research Center, Brazil and for Tibetan-exile communities in the Himalayas, India. She is a certified wetland scientist contributing field experience to wetland/river assessments and restoration.

Delia Lacson: Public Relations Director/Environmental Architect

Delia O'Connell Lacson, serves as an Environmental Architect and Public Relations Director. She facilitates public involvement efforts, ecological site assessment and design, GIS, conceptual modeling and CAD support. Delia specializes in the use of locally appropriate materials to design for climate change adaptation, ecological infrastructure, and wetland design.

Jonathan Childers: Board Chairman/Environmental Planner

Jonathan Childers serves as the Board Chair for WWA (appointed in 2011). Since earning his BS in Biology in '97 and Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree in '99, Jonathan has acquired expertise in sustainable development and program management on high profile infrastructure, facilities, and land use projects for diverse public and private sector clients. As a consulting Senior Planner, leading multidisciplinary teams in complex analysis, design, compliance, and development efforts, he has gained invaluable understanding of business and government dynamics as well as the fundamental politics behind successful policies and projects. Jonathan has also honed his technical and political skills in volunteer leadership with the Peace Corps in Macedonia, Habitat for Humanity in Northern Virginia, ecological restoration projects in the Pacific Northwest, and an affordable straw bale housing organization in Christchurch, New Zealand.
